The split rock lighthouse tour is totally worth it, not for the lighthouse, but because of the lighthouse keeper houses. It gives you a real sense of how they lived then. I go every 5 years or so. Glensheen in Duluth is also totally worth a visit.

I'm watching this RUclips video because my husband embarked on a hiking trip to Mount Rainier this morning, and I'm eagerly awaiting news from him. As of 7:33 PM, I haven't heard from him yet, which is understandable given the challenging hike. However, watching this video has helped alleviate some of my concerns, as it feels like I'm right there with him on the mountain. Our energetic husky is also missing him dearly, usually waiting for his return around 4:30 PM, but today she's sensing something's amiss. Thanks to this channel for sharing their experience, which has made me feel more connected to my husband and less alone at home. Although it's only been a day, I miss him dearly, and the videos have helped calm my nerves, especially given the dangerous nature of the trip. The camera angles make me feel like I'm right there with him, and I'm grateful for this sense of connection. Thank you again for sharing this experience; it means a lot to me!

I was stationed at Ft Lewis in the Army when ai first summited Mt. Rainier. I have now summited Mt. Rainer 5 more times. One of my top experiences in my life!🗻🏔️

Hot Springs, SD, towards the south end of the Black Hills. Former Victorian spa town. Walking tours of the town, antiques, hot springs water park, Battle Mt , enclosed Mammath dig where even kids can participate, near wild horse sanctuary, beautiful drive into WY. We could easily spend two full days there.
